The Vorta control all Dominion affairs, including the Jem'Hadar; they are the contacts of the Dominion for other worlds, and diplomats. The Vorta are the second most powerful race in the Dominion as to power, therefore many act self-confident and arrogant.
Description:
The Vorta are humanoids with black hair, which points upwards, and long pointed ears that are ribbed. They have gray eyes that can vary from blue, gray and green. Other then their ears they look a lot like normal human beings. They have powerful telekinetic abilities that allow them to create energy spheres (30cm diameter) which can thrust a human being two meters backwards. Kilavos are meals eaten by Vorta. Vorta are immune to most toxins.

History:
Everything we know about Vorta history was told to us by Eris , and she might not have told the truth. According to her, the Vorta homeworld, Kareel Prime, was offered entry into the Dominion. When Kareel refused, the Dominion sent the Jem'Hadar. The Jem'Hadar destroyed the communication center and executed the Vorta leaders. By then, they had seized control of the planet.
Sociology:
Vorta have become a very important part of the Dominion, basically being the link between the Founders and the rest of the Dominion, doing administrative tasks.
Vorta names that have been encountered so far: Eris (female), Borath (male), Weyoun (male), Kilana (female).
When a Vorta dies, a clone is made, effectively making them immortal. The Vorta named Weyoun currently the fifth incarnation.
